The 6 suites are beautifully decorated with each suite being completely self-contained with a lounge, private plunge pool, en-suite bathroom, outdoor shower and magnificent views into the surrounding bush. The lounge even has a butlers’ hatch for anything you might order for delivery into your suite.

After returning from your morning game drive, spend the day relaxing in your private plunge pool sipping on a Gin and Tonic. You might even have a visit from an ellie coming to drink from your pool!

Nothing is too much trouble at this lodge; whether you want to lock yourself away in your suite with no interruptions, or dine on your private patio, the staff will make all your safari dreams come true!

Leopard Hills Private Game Reserve, Sabi Sands

Award-winning Leopard Hills is located in the western sector of the renowned Sabi Sand Game Reserve, bordering the world famous Kruger National Park. The Lodge is spectacularly situated atop a rocky outcrop, offering magnificent views over the bush and an active waterhole on the plains below.

This five-star luxury lodge features eight newly renovated and decorated glass-fronted, air-conditioned suites, each with private plunge pool and spectacular views over the African bush. Superb game-viewing and a wide variety of activities, along with outstanding fine dining, attended to by professional and friendly staff; all create the safari experience of a lifetime.

The treatment Sala and gym are very popular among guests. What better way work up a sweat than overlooking the bush below? Or to enjoy an array of pampering massage treatments in the glass-fronted Sala, which has a spectacular vantage point off the main pool deck, offering absolute privacy with spectacular views.

Chitwa Chitwa, Sabi Sands

Unbridled luxury and environmental harmony in the Sabi Sands; a great opening statement! Located on a waterhole this beautiful lodge offers families and couples the perfect base from which to explore the Big Five.

Bedroom furnishings are stylish and unique. With a definite African theme, the rooms exude a great harmony between African bush and chic. Each of the six individually decorated suites open onto a private lake-view deck with its own private plunge pool, framed by a spacious timber deck that overlooks the nearby lake – a popular drinking hole for a wealth of wildlife.

This is a family friendly lodge and kids are certainly included in many activities to learn about the African bush.

Savanna Private Game Reserve, Sabi Sands

Savanna lies in an area where ‘Big 5’ sightings are so frequent; it is not unusual to see all of them in a single game drive.

Your highly trained guide & tracker with vast knowledge of the African bushveld take you on a close & intimate encounter with a large variety of the parks’ inhabitants. Numerous nearby dams and a series of waterholes in front of the lodge attract many species, especially in the dry winter months when elephants are daily visitors.

The lodge has 4 luxury suites, an opulent Savanna suite and 3 large executive suites, all under canvas to give you that tented feeling that is synonymous with the bush. Each of the suites offers something unique to its occupants; whether it’s the private plunge pools in the executive suites or the chef & butler in the Savanna suite, you might struggle to pull yourself away from this private sanctuary you will call home.

An evening around the camp fire is often enhanced by Paddy’s wonderful stories and amazing knowledge of the bush.

Madikwe Game Reserve

Madikwe Hills Private Game Lodge

Set within 75 000 hectares of safari park, Madikwe Hills Private Game Lodge is situated on a rocky outcrop in the heart of the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve in the North West Province of South Africa. Ingeniously set amongst boulders and age-old Tamboti trees, the private game lodge is situated in the middle of Madikwe, giving visitors a huge game drive advantage over other lodges situated on the borders of the reserve and offers visitors the most amazing South African safari adventure.

Accommodating up to 24 guests in vast, well-spaced and utterly private glass-fronted suites scattered across the hillside, camouflaged by tamboti-beamed thatch roofs. Wooden walkways lit by hurricane lamps criss-cross the grounds and connect the secluded suites to the central open-plan lounge, bar, wine cellar, library and dining area up the slope, where cooling fans make slow rotations and the giant twisted trunks of leadwood trees hold up the vaulted ceiling.

Madikwe Hills Main Lodge boasts 10 supremely spacious and luxurious suites which are very hard to leave. A cosy living room with huge slate-clad chimney (perfect to snuggle up in front of an open fire on cooler nights) leads into the peaceful bedroom with a gigantic pillow-strewn four-poster bed draped in generous layers of muslin, from where it’s possible to lie and gaze in wonder as herds of wandering animals make their way to the watering hole. Throw open all the floor-to-ceiling windows and retreat to a sunbed in the shade of an acacia tree, or grab a towel and jump into your own personal plunge pool for the ultimate in relaxed game viewing – you’ll be amazed at what passes by just a hundred feet or so from your deck.

Madikwe Game Reserve is home not only to the Big Five of Africa (Lion, Buffalo, Elephant, Rhino and Leopard), but also to a wealth of over 66 mammal species, including the rare African Wild Dog, as well as Cheetah, Eland, Kudu, Giraffe and a range of more than 300 resident and migratory species of birds.
